We are looking for Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENP) or equivalent extended‑scope practitioners to join our busy Urgent and Emergency Care Centre. Applicants must have post‑registration experience, excellent communication skills and a passion for minor injuries management.
Job Responsibilities
* Support the Minor Injuries Unit staff in the assessment, treatment and discharge of patients presenting with minor injuries.
* Provide professional guidance and support to the nursing team within the MIU.
* Act as a role model and expert resource within the service.
* Deliver the quality and safety agenda, demonstrating effective leadership in a fast‑paced environment.
Person Specification
Essential
* Experience working independently and in multi‑disciplinary teams.
* Experience in staff education and training.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Mitigation of patient risk, effective organisational and supervisory abilities.
* Current professional registration and a qualification in minor injuries management.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Knowledge of national and local nursing and quality agendas.
* Current UK NMC PIN number.
Desirable
* Non‑medical prescribing qualification (v300) if applicable.
* Demonstrated leadership experience.
