Responsibilities:
* Support the Head Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen.
* Maintain proper food storage procedures and stock rotation according to established protocols.
* Prepare, plan, and cook meals to high standards, accommodating any special requests or dietary needs.
* Serve food and beverages to service users, staff, and visitors professionally and courteously.
* Prepare and produce foods for conferences and banquets.
* Participate in food costings and control procedures.
* Adhere to 'Safer Food Better Business' standards and record keeping.
* Strictly follow Food Hygiene Regulations and safety procedures.
* Take full shift responsibility for the catering operation.
* Assist in researching and creating new menus, ensuring high quality and alignment with healthy eating guidelines.
* Maintain all HACCP-related paperwork, including fridge temperatures, food logs, and cleaning schedules.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Must be 18 years or older.
* GCSE or equivalent in English.
* City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 (or equivalent) in Basic Food Preparation and Cooking.
* Basic Food Hygiene certification (essential).
* Intermediate Food Hygiene (desirable).
* Previous experience in a similar environment and in mass service delivery.
* Experience in menu planning, costing, ordering, stock control, and budgeting.

About the Role:
You will provide care and support to young people aged 12-18 with eating disorders or related difficulties, often alongside mental health or psychological issues such as depression, OCD, anxiety, or self-harm.
The clinic features 12 spacious en-suite bedrooms, communal areas, a lounge, dining space, activity rooms, and spaces for individual, group, and family sessions. Our culture emphasizes teamwork, recovery, and compassion.
