The Opportunity Were looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Melton Foods team.This is a pivotal leadership role where youll shape and drive engineering strategy, ensuring our bakery runs safely, efficiently, and with a focus on continuous improvement. As Engineering Manager, youll lead the entire Engineering function for your site, covering both bakery maintenance and site services, as well as capital projects. Key Responsibilities : Provide strategic leadership across engineering, asset care, and site services as well as be a duty holder for our Aylesbury bakery.
Deliver robust maintenance and capital plans to support operational performance and growth.
Champion a culture of health, safety and food safety compliance.
Manage and develop your engineering teams, ensuring colleagues are skilled, motivated, and set up for success.
Drive continuous improvement in reliability, cost control, and sustainability.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to support business performance and long-term success.

As a valued member of our team, you will bring the following skills and experience: - Degree/HND (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Multi site leadership experience
IOSH/NEBOSH certification (essential).
Experience in asset management, maintenance planning, and delivering capital projects.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
A proactive, collaborative style with the ability to engage and inspire teams.
