Salesforce Consultant – Field Service Management (FSM)

Location: Warwickshire – hybrid working
Contract Type: 6‑month contract
Day Rate: £600 to £650 per day


Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Consultant with strong expertise in Field Service Management (FSM) to join a dynamic team on a 6‑month contract based in Warwickshire. The ideal candidate will possess both architect and functional skills, capable of designing and implementing advanced Salesforce solutions tailored to FSM requirements. This role demands advanced proficiency in APEX programming and Salesforce API integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity and customisation across platforms. The consultant will be responsible for developing scalable, high‑quality Salesforce applications, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, and driving best practices in development and integration.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce Field Service Management solutions.
* Develop and maintain custom APEX code to extend Salesforce functionality.
* Architect and implement integrations using Salesforce APIs to connect with external systems.
* Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver functional solutions.
* Ensure code quality, performance optimisation, and adherence to Salesforce development standards.
* Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to FSM and Salesforce platform.


Required Skills

* Strong experience in Salesforce Field Service Management (FSM).
* Advanced APEX programming skills.
* Expertise in Salesforce APIs and integration techniques.
* Salesforce architecture and functional design capabilities.
* Proven ability to develop and customise Salesforce solutions.
* Experience with Salesforce development lifecycle and best practices.
* Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a contract environment.
* Understanding of Salesforce security and compliance standards.


Software/Tools

* Salesforce Platform (including Field Service Lightning)
* APEX
* Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API)
* Salesforce Lightning Components (LWC/Aura)
* Development tools such as Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code
* Version control systems (e.g., Git)


Certifications & Standards

* Salesforce Field Service Consultant certification (advantageous).
* Adherence to Salesforce development and security best practices.
