Main duties of the job
The team will consist of a variety of highly skilled professionals including nursing, support staff, medical, psychology and occupational health colleagues. You will work closely with all of them to ensure the care we provide is not only outstanding but that the team is well developed and supported.
We would expect you to -
* A reduction in physical health illness in those service users with complex mental health needs.
* An increase in physical health screening in those service users with complex health needs.
* To ensure that the physical health needs of the service users are met through sharing information with the service users\' primary care team.
* A high level of patient and professional satisfaction
* Promotion of self-management, self-care and recovery.
* The maintenance of independence
* Improved communication between professionals and carers

Qualifications
* RMN Mental Health
* Post registration qualification in speciality Educated to Master\'s degree level in relevant subject area
* Recognised leadership qualification or equivalent experience
* Non- Medical Prescriber
Skills
* Experience of working in an acute setting
* Experience in managing complaints and quality assurance
Experience
* Minimum 5 years post registration experience
* Experience and knowledge of quality standard setting and audit
