Department Overview:
The Financial Markets (FM) landscape is changing rapidly due to intensified regulatory requirements. Very liquid products (cash equities, futures, commodities and FX) are highly electronic. Fixed income products (corporate and government bonds) are in process of becoming electronic due to balance sheet reduction and regulation. Derivative products are less electronic but will be included in MIFID II trading mandate regulation. The foundation for the FM eTrading team is based on 4 important cornerstones (client, data, connectivity and innovation). These cornerstones are important key areas, where focus, dedicated projects and resources have contributed to the creation of an FM eTrading team.
The FM eTrading team are organised in to 4 core groups; eTrading & Strategy, eData, eProducts and eControls.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:
The Quantitative Developer will be part of the trading and strategy team and will be responsible for connectivity and data collection within rates.
Tasks include working with the trading and strategy team to create, build and maintain the software development infrastructure for the team (build system, packaging, testing framework).

Candidate Profile
Experience/Knowledge
Essential:
• Experience in algorithmic frameworks;
• Strong development skills (Java);
• Motivated by electronic trading;
• Numerical background - Maths, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering.
