Job Description:
Semi Senior practice manager in a full-service, mid-sized firm of Chartered Accountants based in West London. The firm has 70 staff across offices in Aylesbury, Ealing, and Pitstone. They seek a semi senior practice manager/assistant manager to join their growing team and make a significant impact.
The firm’s turnover was £6.5 million last year, with rapid growth from £1.5 million in 2022, indicating an ambitious and expanding practice.
The ideal candidate is seeking career advancement, possibly QBE or fully qualified, interested in management or comfortable in a semi-senior management role with substantial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Client Management: Act as a key contact for clients, providing financial advice and building relationships.
* Understand client needs to customize financial solutions.
* Team Supervision: Mentor junior staff, delegate tasks, and support professional development.
* Workflow Management: Prioritize and coordinate work, manage deadlines, and ensure service quality.
* Review and approve financial statements, ensure compliance, and provide technical guidance.
* Quality Control: Maintain service standards, conduct reviews, and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency enhancements and best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
* ACCA, ACA, CIMA, FCCA qualification, or qualified by experience.
* At least 4-5 years of UK accountancy practice experience.
* UK citizen with no sponsorship needed.
* Fully office-based, comfortable with commuting.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in accounting systems.
* Salary: £35k-£50k depending on experience.
