Job Description
This position is ideal for an experienced dispensing professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident working with digital pharmacy platforms. You'll ensure the timely and accurate dispensing of prescriptions, support clinical operations, and play a vital role in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.Key Responsibilities
3. Accurately dispense prescriptions within daily deadlines
4. Manage prescription labelling and support high‑volume workflows
5. Support the clinical team with daily operational activities
6. Work to internal accuracy, quality and performance targets
7. Maintain compliance with legal, professional and company standards
8. Collaborate effectively with Customer Service, Purchasing, Operations and Pharmacists
9. Contribute to a positive, supportive and team‑centred working environment
Hours: Mon-Fri 09:00-18:30 + alternate Saturdays 09:00-18:30
The Successful Applicant
10. A qualified NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Assistant with experience in high‑volume pharmacy environments, including care‑home pharmacy settings.
11. Skilled in ProScript, YourMeds, FlowRx, and major e‑MAR platforms (cycle setup, data entry and medication‑round workflows).
12. Strong IT proficiency including intermediate Excel, with excellent written and verbal communication.
13. Demonstrates high levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
14. Familiar with digital ordering, e‑MAR processes and pharmacy automation systems.
15. A supportive team player with a positive, professional attitude, eager to learn and contribute, and committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused care.
