We are recruiting a dedicated and adaptable Teacher to work within a specialist alternative education setting in Gateshead. The role focuses on delivering a personalised curriculum while supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
2. Support pupils with SEMH and behavioural challenges.
3. Create a calm, structured and positive classroom environment.
4. Monitor and assess pupil progress.
5. Work collaboratively with support staff and leadership teams.
Skills & Experience
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
7. Experience in alternative provision, PRU or SEMH settings is desirable.
8. Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
9. Flexible, resilient and relationship-focused approach.
