Hawksworth are now searching for a back office operations Manager to join a giant in the financial services and pensions world as their Head of Operations.
We're looking for someone with broad pensions knowledge to lead the back office function for a key account with almost 1.4 million members. You will manage a team of Managers to drive best practices, ensuring operational excellence in a complex, multiplatform, and legislative environment.
Responsibilities:
* Lead multiple teams across various locations to achieve performance targets and cultivate a culture of pride and passion.
* Ensure service activities adhere to service level agreements, client requirements, budget constraints, and regulatory standards.
* Provide expertise in UK Wealth, Life, and Pension products, with a focus on Retirement/Annuity options.
* Foster a supportive environment, promoting continuous learning and development for team members.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
* Champion exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
About You:
* Proven experience in running back office operations, preferably within a regulated financial services business.
* In-depth understanding of UK Wealth, Life, and Pension products, including Retirement options.
* Strong leadership qualities with experience managing teams and driving performance.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to navigate through regulatory environments and ensure compliance.
* Commitment to delivering timely results and exceeding quality standards.
Tenure - Permanent, fulltime
Location - Crawley, West Sussex
WFH - 40% work from home (3 days per week in office)
Salary - £65,000 per annum plus 15% bonus plus benefits (maybe more for the right person)
