Job Description Materials Controller Salary: £13-14 per hour Location: Kingswood Hours: Monday–Friday, 37 hours per week Start Date: ASAP Type: Permanent Syntech Recruitment are currently working with this well established client who are looking to expand their team and take on a Materials Controller. This is an important role and you will play a crucial part in the smooth running of this department. Monitor work in progress levels of each workstation and replenish as needed. Ensure that materials are correctly labelled, stored, and transported in compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintain an uninterrupted workflow by coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams. Conduct routine checks to ensure all items are available and meet quality standards. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, or conveyor belts. Assist with work in progress rotation to minimise waste and optimise workflow. Follow all health and safety guidelines, including PPE usage and manual handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory and storage areas Materials Controller Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment preferred. Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed. Willingness to work in a shift-based or flexible work schedule.
