Job purpose: Temporary role to assist with administrative tasks within the logistics and compliance department.
Key Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)
* Ensure the import and export logs are maintained.
* Review and facilitate approval of freight and payment invoices.
* Renewal of annual vendor certs.
* Carry out any other operational requests within the department.
* Provide holiday cover as required.
* Carry out all tasks in line with health and safety regulations, using good working practices to operate within the company policies and procedures ensuring good housekeeping at all times.
Accountabilities: (Deliverables)
* Administrative tasks as required within the logistics and compliance department.
Education/Qualifications:
* Secondary education qualification in Mathematics and English
Technical Competencies:
* Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Key Skills:
* Good communication skills, learning ability and proactive personality.
* Ability to co-operate and work well as part of a team, as well as being able to work under own initiative.
Experience:
* Previous experience within an import/export environment is advantageous, however training will be provided.
