Science Technician What the Role Involves
Preparing, maintaining, and organising laboratory equipment and materials for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed, including correct storage and handling of chemicals and equipment
Supporting teachers during practical experiments, setting up demonstrations, and clearing down after lessons
Monitoring and ordering stock, maintaining inventory, and ensuring all lab spaces are clean, safe, and ready for lessons
Assisting with practical work preparation, demonstrations, and enabling students to engage fully in lab-based learning
