Role overview
As the Bodyshop VDA, your role is to estimate Internal vehicles for our Preparation Centre using your skills and judgement to avoid unnecessary repair/spend.
Key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a Bodyshop VDA will be:
* Liaising with body preparation technicians to keep all remedial repairs to a minimum.
* Reporting to the workshop manager on any structural concerns identified
* Transferring an estimate to digital quote on the systems used
* Managing your own time efficiently
* Continuously reviewing and improving Bodyshop processes and systems to deliver increased levels of job quantity/quality/satisfaction whilst minimising repairs and high levels of quality & workmanship
* Achieving estimating standards and kpi's
* SMART estimating within the preparation division
* To help develop individuals within the team, monitoring staff & self-training needs
* To plan and manage resource requirements

About You
As a Bodyshop VDA, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
* Experience as a VDA / Vehicle Estimator
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Strong teamworking skills.
* Strong organisational ability
* Strong Time management skills
* Full and clean UK Driving Licence
