Ecommerce SEO Executive
Reports to: SEO Lead
Location: Glasgow, office based
Salary: Dependent on experience
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ecommerce SEO Executive with a strong focus on technical SEO and keyword research. As our Ecommerce SEO Executive, you will play a crucial role in optimising our website and driving organic traffic to enhance our online visibility, customer engagement, and revenue generation.
What does a typical day sound like?
Responsibilities include:
1. Conducting comprehensive keyword research:
* Perform in-depth keyword analysis to identify relevant search terms with high search volume and low competition.
* Use keyword research tools and analytics platforms to gather data and insights to optimise website content and product listings.
* A better understanding of silo structure and how it works.
* Stay updated with industry trends and customer preferences to identify new keyword opportunities.
2. Monitor website performance and conduct regular audits:
* Monitor key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, rankings, and conversions, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website performance, crawlability, or indexability issues.
* Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices to ensure compliance and adapt strategies accordingly.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Ecommerce SEO Executive or similar role, focusing on technical SEO and keyword research.
* Must have experience using the following platforms - GSC, GA4, GTM, AHREFS, SEMRush, Surfer SEO and Screaming Frog.
* Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
* Proficiency in keyword research tools and analytics platforms.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in SEO and digital marketing.
* SEO certifications or relevant training courses are a plus.
