We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
* Diagnose hardware and software issues in mobile phones using specialised tools and diagnostic software
* Repair or replace faulty components such as screens, batteries, and internal circuits
* Utilise hand tools effectively for disassembly and reassembly of devices
* Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of mobile devices to ensure longevity and performance
* Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to identify repair procedures
* Perform computer hardware repairs related to mobile device connectivity or internal components
* Assist with computer networking setups where applicable to support device functionality
* Test repaired devices thoroughly to confirm proper operation before returning to customers
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service details in company systems
Requirements
* Proven experience in mobile phone repair or a related technical field is preferred
* Mechanical knowledge with the ability to handle delicate components safely
* Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, spudgers, and soldering equipment
* Strong understanding of computer hardware and repair techniques
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams effectively
* Experience with computer repair and maintenance is desirable
* Knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to mobile device connectivity is advantageous
* Demonstrated ability in equipment repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £12.21-£16.23 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
