A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an aspiring IT professional to join a long-term programme supporting one of the UK's key national defence training establishments. This role is based at a large naval training site and would suit someone with a solid understanding of IT support who is keen to progress their career through hands-on experience and structured development.
This is a customer-facing, office-based position with excellent opportunities to grow into more senior technical or project-focused roles - the vacancy has become available due to internal promotion.
The Role:
As a 2nd Line Engineer, the successful candidate will provide technical support to users and systems across a secure site, responding to service desk tickets, deploying software, resolving incidents, and contributing to ongoing project work. Full training is provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of Windows technologies looking to level up.
