The role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused and highly organized individual to join the Community Wellbeing Business Support team at Herefordshire Council on a permanent contract. As a Business Support Officer, you will provide excellent customer service to staff and members of the public. Your duties will include administrative support across the Community Wellbeing Directorate, such as processing calls, distributing confidential documents, monitoring mailboxes, taking minutes, and ensuring smooth service delivery by responding to enquiries efficiently.
About You
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on high-quality customer service
* Strong organizational skills to handle enquiries promptly
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Capability to multitask while maintaining high work standards
* Proficiency in IT and ability to operate different systems
* Accurate record-keeping using Excel spreadsheets with attention to detail
