The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, a people-powered business of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering top-tier motoring services for private and business drivers. We now have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our Roadside Patrol team.
As a Roadside Mechanic, you will need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to work at short notice
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight if necessary
This role involves working approximately 40 hours per week without a fixed roster. You will receive your schedule seven days in advance, with core hours communicated three days prior, within the hours of 06:00 and 02:00. Your shifts will include evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
