Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative and Operational Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our ecommerce and online selling activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of various selling platforms and websites.

Duties

* Manage listings on various ecommerce selling platforms.
* Assist with research and listing of new and second hand items.
* Prepare reports on sales activity across all selling platforms.
* Pick, pack and dispatch of items sold across various platforms.
* Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
* Store, file and manage stock within our store room
* Maintain an organised workspace to facilitate efficient workflow.
* Research and locate new items and suppliers.
* Respond to and deal with customer enquiries via email, messaging, phone and in person.
* Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes.

Skills

* Proven office and online selling experience with a strong emphasis on administrative tasks.
* Proficient computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
* Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills.
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Knowledge of online selling platforms to include auction sites, shopify, woocommerce and other Marketplaces.
* Knowledge of Royal Mail dispatch and parcel sizes, and also parcel delivery methods.
* Accurate typing skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks.
* Previous clerical experience is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of office procedures.
