Job Role
· You will be working in a family run boutique Nursing Home set in beautiful mature gardens
· The company has an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care
· You will lead, mentor and motivate a team of nurses, senior carers and care assistants to ensure the residents physical, social and psychological needs are assessed and met
· You will delegate safely and effectively
· As a team leader you will promote professionalism and share best practice to encourage continuous improvement
· You will promote person centred care ensuring residents maintain dignity, choice and independence
· You will be committed to the NMC code of conduct
· You will assess the residents to develop, implement and evaluate their care plans. You will keep accurate records and conduct handovers.
· You will have autonomy within the remit of your role but also support from the Manager and company directors. You will deputise for the Manager if required.
· You will employ knowledge of clinical tools such as The Waterlow Score to monitor and improve the health of residents
· As part of the day-to-day routine you will dispense and administer medicines as per the NMC code of conduct and our company's policies
· The company will provide opportunities for your continued professional development
· There will be situations for you to provide training to other team members
· Your good communication and listening skills will promote excellent relationships with residents and their families
