Are you an experienced Children’s Social Worker looking for your next locum role in a dynamic high-performing team? Bradford Children’s Services is seeking skilled professionals to join their Duty & Assessment Team – where your expertise will help safeguard and improve the lives of children and families across the district. The nature of work within the Duty Service is fast-paced and varied.
Key responsibilities
Completing timely and robust assessments under the Single Assessment Framework
Managing a caseload with varying levels of complexity
Engaging with children, families and partner agencies to identify needs and ensure safety
Making clear and effective decisions on intervention and next steps
Preparing and presenting reports for ICPCs, CLA Reviews, PLO meetings and CIN meetingsCase transfer points
Initial Child Protection Case Conference (ICPC)
First Child Looked After (CLA) Review
First Public Law Outline (PLO) Meeting
Third Child in Need (CIN) MeetingThe Duty Service does not hold cases long-term. Following your assessment and intervention period, outcomes will determine which long-term team the family transitions to which ensures continuity and appropriate support.
