Overview
As a Retail Optical Assistant at Vision Express, you’ll assist our customers in finding eyewear that meets their needs. You’ll help with frame adjustments, repairs, and fittings. You may perform some pre-screening eye examinations and administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, supporting the phone lines from customer queries and processing payments. The hours of this role are advertised, and we are open to discussing flexible options to fit your ideal working week.
Your goal is to provide excellent customer service and ensure customers leave happy with eyewear that fits properly and meets their vision needs. You’ll contribute to our mission of helping customers to “See More and Be More” by delivering tailored, effective service that enhances their lifestyle.
Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service with personalized assistance to meet customer needs and address concerns
* Assist customers in finding eyewear and offer informed product recommendations
* Perform frame adjustments, repairs, fittings, and maintain visual merchandising in line with store guidance
* May conduct pre-screening eye examinations where applicable
* Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, supporting phone lines, and processing payments
* Maintain accurate customer records, prescriptions, and product information
* Work effectively as part of a store team and handle fast-paced environments
