Hunts Recruitment are seeking Flexible Children's Residential Support Workers for shifts across West Sussex
You will be working within residential homes for young people in care. Providing day to day support to the young people who may display challenging behaviours and mental health needs due to many having experienced trauma and abuse.
Due to the locations of the homes - drivers are preferred
Pay per hour: £12.21- £12.50 per hour / £50 per sleep in duty (potential enhancements for 3 continuous months)
Shift times: Shifts offered include morning shifts, late shifts, Long day shifts waking nights and/or sleep in duties
Shifts: Across Monday to Sunday as required to suit your availability

Principal Responsibilities:
Acting as a professional parent, nurturing and caring for the young people looked after
You will take a child-centred approach in providing high quality care that will enable each young person to grow and develop healthily.
You will implement and maintain clear and consistent boundaries necessaryfor the creation of a safe and secure environment.
Who we are looking for:
You will ideally have experience of supporting children or young people, especially those with additional behaviours or mental health needs
Experience supporting within a residential setting would be advantageous
Flexible with your availability for shifts starting from 7am and ending at 10pm alternatively - night shifts
You will ideally have an enhanced DBSfor the child and adult workforce which is registered on the update service. If not, we are happy to assist you in gaining one at the cost of £62.70
