Candidates with a good degree in psychology are invited to apply for the post of Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford.
The department has recently moved to its new home in The Life and Mind building.
Position Details
* Fixed term until 31 March 2028.
* Full-time (37.5 hours per week).
* Part-time considered with a minimum of 0.8 FTE.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with Professor Anke Ehlers and the Oxford Center for Anxiety Disorders and Trama team on research evaluations of psychological treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder and social anxiety disorder, including therapist-assisted internet-delivered cognitive therapies and their roll-out into the NHS.
* Assist in the administration of clinical trials of psychological treatments for PTSD and social anxiety disorder, liaisng with trial therapists and participants.
* Edit training materials for a therapist training website and online therapy modules.
* Liaise with web developers and users of the internet-delivered therapies.
* Interview participants.
* Assist with data entry and analysis.
Qualifications
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Good understanding of computers and software.
* Knowledge of statistics and experimental design.
* Prior experience of working with people with PTSD and/or social anxiety disorder is desirable.
