An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Serious Injury Solicitor (NQ+) to join the Manchester office of a leading UK law firm within its highly regarded Serious Injury team.
The Team
The team acts for claimants and their families following life-changing injuries including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and amputations. They’re well known for a client-first approach, with a strong focus on early rehabilitation and long-term support.
The Role
You’ll work closely with Partners and Senior Fee Earners on a varied catastrophic injury caseload, providing day-to-day support on complex, high-value matters.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Drafting documents such as Schedules of Loss, Disclosure Lists, Witness Statements and Cost Budgets
- Preparing instructions to experts and counsel
- Attending court hearings (in person and remotely)
- Acting as a key contact for clients, families and third-party professionals
- Supporting on complex Multi-Track matters, with scope to run lower value cases depending on experience
You’ll receive strong supervision and support, making this a good step for someone looking to build a long-term career in catastrophic injury work.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ+)
- Experience in claimant serious or catastrophic injury work (either assisting or handling files)
- Good understanding of CPR and relevant protocols
- Confident technically with strong organisational skills
- Empathetic and comfortable working with vulnerable clients
- Strong team player
