Class Teacher – Full Time

Pay Scale – Main Pay Scale M1-M6 (£32916 - £45352)
The children, staff and governors are looking to appoint a full-time class teacher from 1st September 2026. The vacancy could be in either KS1 or KS2 – this can be discussed further at interview.

Bathwick St. Mary Church School is part of the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust and is a welcoming, happy and exciting place to be. The school works very closely with Bathwick St. Mary’s Church to maintain and build on our Christian foundation, and we are seeking someone who can fully support this ethos.
Above all, we are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic individual with a genuine love of teaching and children, who can inspire our children in all areas of the curriculum and uphold our school’s Christian foundation. You will be working full time in either KS1 or KS2 and benefit from the experience, support and guidance of a well-established, positive and friendly staff team. We have the highest aspirations for each of our children and strive to enable them to be the very best they can be.

2. An enthusiastic, creative and reflective teacher, with very high expectations of their pupils and themselves
3. The ability to work positively and collaboratively with all members of the school team and the wider community
4. A good understanding of how to identify and meet individual learning needs within the classroom context.
