Job Title: Social Worker (Children)

Rate: £35 per hour
Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Children & Families Team in Calderdale, who have a Child Protection, Child in Need or Child Looked After plan and varying needs of complexities.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for an Experienced Social Worker to manage a diverse and complex caseload, including high-risk cases related to child protection, care and support, deprivation of liberty, and court actions. You will undertake assessments, design care and support plans, and determine the provision of external support within budget parameters. Working in partnership with various services, you will ensure the best use of resources and adapt social work techniques to meet the needs of individuals, families, and carers.
Your role involves promoting positive outcomes through professional support, safeguarding the welfare of adults and children at risk, and making critical decisions in their best interest. You will participate in a duty system, respond to immediate cases, and manage potential risks. As a role model, you will share good practice, mentor new social workers and students, and support the service’s quality assurance.
You will also be responsible for best interest assessments, preparing court reports, and chairing care and support meetings.
As a Social Worker you are required to:
1. Hold a Social Work England registration
2. Be eligible to work in the UK
3. Hold a full UK licence
4. Post-qualified experience
5. Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
