Mechanical Maintenance Engineer wanted for a fast‑paced, hands‑on role maintaining a wide range of equipment. The role involves fault finding, preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and working as part of a skilled engineering team to keep complex machinery operating safely and reliably. Ideal for someone practical, adaptable, and confident working at height and in dynamic surroundings.
Responsibilities
- Fault finding and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
- Planning and executing preventive maintenance activities
- Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment operation
- Collaborating with engineering team to optimise machinery performance
Non‑Negotiable Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification or apprenticeship training
- Industrial experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
- Able to work at heights
- Full rights to work in the UK
Additional Requirements
- Strong mechanical fault‑finding skills
- Experienced working on hydraulics and pneumatics
