Job Purpose:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating and delivering customer projects from order confirmation through to completion. This role ensures that all projects are executed efficiently, safely and profitably while meeting client expectations, contractual requirements and Abbey Glass quality standards.
The role acts as the central point of communication between Head of Business Development, internal departments and installation teams, ensuring accurate planning, effective problem-solving and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Coordination
2. Develop detailed project plans, timelines and resource requirements
3. Develop cost plan analysis for quotation stage and liaise with HOB
4. Liaise with Production, Installations, Procurement and HOB to align project needs
5. Conduct risk assessments and ensure mitigation measures are in place
6. Client Communication & Relationship Management
7. Serve as primary point of contact for assigned projects
8. Provide regular updates, progress reports and variation notifications
9. Attend site visits, client meetings and coordination sessions where applicable
10. Operational Delivery & Execution
11. Ensure all products, materials and labour are scheduled accurately
12. Monitor installation progress with Contracts Manager
13. Manage project handover in collaboration with Contracts Manager & Head of Business Development
14. Financial & Commercial Management
15. Monitor project budgets
16. Manage variations, additional works and scope changes
17. Ensure accurate project documentation, invoicing information and cost control
18. Compliance, Quality & Reporting
19. Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and company policies
20. Maintain accurate project records and CRM system
21. Report project status, risks and KPIs to Operations Director

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
* Proven experience in a project management role
* Experience with customer relationship management
* Experience within construction, glazing, manufacturing, or similar technical environment
Preferred:
* Project management accreditation (e.g., PRINCE2 / APM)
* Experience working with contractors, developers and commercial clients
Working Relationships:
Internal: Operations Director, Production Manager, Contracts Manager, Project Co-coordinators, Sales, Finance, Procurement & Head of Business Development
External: Clients, contractors, site managers and suppliers
Salary - 35, ,000 depending on experience.
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday - 8:00 to 17:00
Friday - 8:00 to 14:30
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
