As a Bank Mental Health Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team carrying out comprehensive assessments, initiating and reviewing care plans, and developing treatment options.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Undertaking medication rounds, and assessing and treating patients who may have undergone traumatic experiences and may be distressed
* Assessing patients' health needs using an evidence-based framework and being able to risk assess using sound clinical knowledge
* Working with individuals providing advice, support, and information and managing a case load of patients
* Monitoring therapeutic responses to medication and potential side effects, liaising with prescribers as required
* Promoting best practice, clinical supervision, and evidence-based care

To be successful in this role, you will need:
* NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Experience of working with patients, face to face, who have complex mental health conditions
* Experience of psychosocial interventions, group work, and awareness of substance misuse

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. Hourly Bank Rate: Weekday - £23.83, Weekends - £25.68, Bank Holidays - £30.82.
