4 Year Graduate Apprenticeship Programme\n\nThe apprenticeship is a comprehensive training programme lasting up to four years. During this period, you will undertake training and work experience at Dounreay within our various project teams as well as spend some time in the design office, assisting with both our new build and decommissioning projects to develop the skills necessary for the modern professional Civil Engineer. You will attend UHI Inverness on block release to meet the academic requirements of the programme Over the 4 years you will -\n\nWork full time at the Dounreay site working alongside project teams (hybrid may be available in final 2 years), on 6 month rotations\nAttend UHI Inverness on block release for academic studies\nIn year 1, attend Outward Bound Course\n\nThe Final Qualifications\n\nBEng (Hons) Civil Engineering\nCertificate of Apprenticeship Have achieved (or expect to achieve) a minimum of 3 Highers (BBC) including Maths and one other STEM Subject, or equivalent\nHave good communication, team working and problem solving skills\nAble to demonstrate an interest in Engineering\nAble to commute to the Dounreay site (local bus service is available) and attend college at UHI Inverness
