* We are urgently seeking an experienced Band 5/6 Pharmacy Technician to join a busy hospital team in Chepstow during the winter pressures period. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and adaptable technician who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Requirements
* Hospital pharmacy experience (essential)
* Strong background in Medicines Management (Meds Man)
* Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification – essential
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent communication, accuracy, and organisational skills
* Confident working across wards and dispensary services
Role Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality ward-based medicines management
* Provide accurate final checking as an ACT
* Support dispensary workflow and clinical teams during peak winter demand
* Contribute to safe, effective, and efficient pharmaceutical care
* Help maintain smooth service operation during a high-pressure period
