Location: Boston, MA, Watertown, MA (hybrid)

Position: Full-Time

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 + Performance Bonuses (depending on experience)

Exciting, entrepreneurial opportunity to join an innovative new med spa brand in the Greater Boston area led by an accomplished team with decades of experience in retail, hospitality, marketing, and finance – including a proven track record creating a leading med spa brand in New York/New Jersey/Miami.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, commercially oriented, an effective communicator / people manager, and thrives with a great deal of autonomy. We are seeking someone who is eager to grow with SKN WTR Aesthetics across the New England region. This is a unique opportunity to become not only a key contributor, but also a co-owner and public-facing ambassador of our brand.

Role Overview

As General Manager you will be responsible for attracting, hiring, and developing a team of injectors, medical estheticians, and support staff while overseeing day-to-day spa-level operations. You will also work directly with the executive team to refine operations, identify new business opportunities, and advance the overall strategic vision of the company.

Roles & Responsibilities

Personnel Management

* Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of medical estheticians, nurses, front of house, and other staff
* Design and administer training and education programs on non-clinical responsibilities with a focus on hospitality
* Foster a culture of professional development to keep a motivated employee base
* Conduct regular performance reviews with actionable feedback to ensure exemplary service is consistently delivered to our clients

Operations

* Scheduling – monitor appointment scheduling for each injector / esthetician and by location to maximize revenue while maintaining optimal efficiency and client experience
* Inventory Management – track and order as needed, ensure efficiency and compliance with company rules and procedures
* Participate in regular reviews of financial and operating reports with senior leadership, suggest and implement changes as needed

Sales, Marketing and Business Development

* Work directly with our Chief Marketing Officer to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that promotes brand awareness and drives engagement
* Proactively conceive of local and company-wide advertising campaigns and promotional tactics to drive business - including calling on local business, generating partnerships and referral opportunities
* Coach clinical staff to capitalize on upsell opportunities to drive sales of additional products and services
* Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and developments, competitors, and customer preferences to keep our brand on the cutting edge

Customer Experience

* Ensure the spa is clean and maintained to the highest standards
* Continuously review client feedback, professionally resolve any and all issues to the satisfaction of the customer
* Implement corrective measures as needed
* Work with the spa staff to curate an exceptional customer experience from start to finish to ensure repeat business

Qualifications

* 2 – 5 years managerial experience
* 2 – 5 years experience in a MedSpa / Salon / Hospitality / Medical business preferred
* Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills
* Excellent time management skills, able to effectively prioritize and multitask
* Diplomatic and professional in conflict resolution
* Proficiency with point of sale / booking software preferred (e.g., Boulevard)
* Entrepreneurial mindset, collegial work style, willing to assist with tasks outside explicit job description as the business evolves; owner’s mentality
* Associates / Bachelor’s degree or relevant hospitality certification

Compensation & Benefits

* Competitive base salary $70,000 – $85,000, commensurate with experience
* Performance-based bonuses and incentives
