Leadership & Management:
Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, working under a dedicated Senior Manager and/or Director. Lead and develop junior team members around IPA.
Engage directly with senior stakeholders on the client side (e.g., Programme Directors and CFOs) and clearly articulate risks and recommendations from IPA work. Collaborate with internal senior teams to secure resources, deliver, and sign off work.
Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance:
Contribute to risk management activities over large, multi-year, multimillion-pound engagements. Ensure adherence to all KPMG risk processes, especially given the high-risk nature of IPA work.
What will you be doing?
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business transformation ERP programmes, including challenges and assurance requirements.
* Understand all critical workstreams such as PMO, business change, business architecture, testing, data, and transition, and lead focused reviews in these areas.
* Identify key risks throughout the programme lifecycle and determine necessary mitigations to keep the project on track.
* Translate observations into risks with clear impact descriptions and practical recommendations, avoiding generic solutions.
* Manage multiple IPA activities (stage gates, deep dives) and coordinate with other assurance activities like IA-driven work. Communicate effectively with internal QA teams using appropriate language around 1st / 2nd / 3rd line defenses.
Lead a junior team to produce high-quality outputs within pressured environments, such as health check reports, stage gate reviews, and assessments of client readiness for project progression.
