The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a key role in supporting pupils and teachers in the classroom. No two days are the same — you could be working 1:1 with a pupil, supporting small groups, or assisting the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons.
Roles are available across a range of settings including mainstream primary and secondary schools, as well as SEND provisions. You may be supporting pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social, emotional and mental health needs.
Your role will be to provide encouragement, consistency, and support to help pupils access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a positive classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* – Experience working with children or young people (in education, childcare, or support settings) is desirable
* – A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
* – Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
* – A passion for supporting children’s development
* – Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
* – A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
