Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Salary/Rate: £25,000 - £30,000 overtime
Overview:
A Field Service Engineer independently handles the installation, maintenance, and support of customer networks. This position requires proficiency in troubleshooting, reporting, and project completion. Field Engineers work closely with the Engineering Manager, Project Managers, and Senior Engineers.
Duties & Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer:
Independently install and maintain networking and communications infrastructure.
Design, assemble, and install steelwork, masts, and associated equipment.
Install and commission wireless equipment, including point-to-point radios, CCTV, and networking devices.
Prepare detailed site visit reports and documentation.
Troubleshoot network issues and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain awareness of industry developments and new technologies.
Ensure company vehicles are adequately maintained and stocked.
Present a professional and approachable attitude on customer sites.
The successful Field Service Engineer will ideally have the below experience:
Proven experience in networking and communications equipment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
The benefits for this Field Service Engineer role are as follows:
25-30k for a 40-hour week. (Apply online only).
Overtime is paid at time, unless weekend work (voluntary when available, but not often required) which is paid at 1.5x for Saturday and 2x Sunday.
Company Vehicle (Ford Transit Van) and fuel card provided.
Specialist tools supplied and any training required is paid for by the company
Expenses paid for early starts/late finishers and overnight stays
25 days holiday 8 bank holidays
