Salary range: £52,194 - £55,323 p.a. including London weighting.

The Post
Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted advisor to Governing Boards, Head Teachers and school leaders on complex staffing matters such as performance, absence, conduct, capability, organisational change and TUPE.
* Advise on employment practices, pay and conditions, ensuring legal compliance.
* Manage a high volume of employee‑relations casework from start to finish, delivering outcomes for schools and individuals.
* Collaborate with managers and HR colleagues to develop workforce strategies and talent‑management initiatives that attract and retain staff for diverse school roles.
* Support flexible working arrangements, including option to work two days a week from home.
The Person
Qualifications & Experience
* Excellent knowledge of HR best practice in employee relations and current employment law.
* Effective communicator with influencing, persuasion and relationship‑building skills.
* Experience managing and resolving a high volume of HR casework, including discipline, grievance, capability and harassment.
* Desirable, but not essential, experience in the schools/education sector.
