About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, along with ideally some IT skills. Communication with residents and co-workers should be considerate and kind.
The role involves ensuring residents live in a well-maintained environment through proactive inspections, audits, and record-keeping. Tasks include replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing window timber, or wallpapering, always with kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. Attendance at safeguarding training is required, along with additional training as needed. You must be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
