GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a welcoming school in the Stocksbridge area of Sheffield. This position offers the chance to engage students with exciting lessons about physical and human geography. Role Overview: As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver lessons across Key Stages, encouraging students to develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of environmental and societal issues. Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher: Plan and deliver stimulating Geography lessons tailored to diverse learners. Track pupil progress and adapt teaching to support student achievement. Foster a classroom environment that encourages inquiry and exploration. Collaborate with the department to develop curriculum and extracurricular activities. Promote sustainability and global awareness throughout the school community. Requirements for Geography Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Degree in Geography or a related subject is desirable. Experience teaching Geography at UK school level. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
