Merton Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Administrator to join our newly established Adult Social Care Business Support Hub. This pivotal role will provide operational leadership to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of business support services across adult social care, integrated care, and public health.
You’ll work closely with social work teams and external partners to enhance performance, improve systems, and support the delivery of high-quality care services that make a real difference in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities
* Management and support of hub staff
* Lead administration activities ensuring they are delivered on time to a high standard.
* Support the implementation of efficient administrative systems and processes to support adult social care operations that ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensure timely and effective communication.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high customer satisfaction.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience in business support within a public sector or social care setting.
* Is confident in using data and performance information to drive service improvement.
* Understands the complexities of adult social care and the importance of integrated support systems.
* Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering excellent public services.
