We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Trailer Fleet Company based in the Bedford area. The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £44,000 with OTE of circa £54,000. Our Client is looking for a HGV Trailer Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role. Company pension scheme and life assurance Typical Duties of a HGV Trailer Technician for our client include, but are not limited to: Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department Completion of MOT preparation Requirements of this HGV Trailer Technician vacancy: • Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles. • Industry qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQs). • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. • IRTEC accreditation (desirable) • EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO). • Welding certification (desirable) • Experience with axle manufacturers (BPW, SAF, JOST). • Tail lift & double-deck maintenance experience.
