Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver daily engineering control across earthworks, drainage, access roads, and structures.
* Produce setting out and survey information using GPS, EDMs and levels.
* Contribute to the development of Task Briefing Sheets, Permit to Dig, and Safe Systems of Work.
* Take ownership of quality assurance documentation, including as-built records and handover files.
* Support weekly programme delivery and track progress using key performance data.
* Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and commercial staff to ensure cost control and accurate record keeping.
* Manage materials requisitions, take-offs, and plant/labour inputs.
* Uphold site safety culture and lead by example with inspections and briefings.
About You
* Proven experience as a Section Engineer or Senior Engineer on civils or infrastructure schemes.
* Strong understanding of setting out and surveying using GPS and EDM equipment.
* Good working knowledge of NEC contracts and construction documentation.
* Capable of producing and maintaining accurate quality and handover records.
* Positive attitude and strong communication skills – comfortable leading teams and solving problems on-site.
* Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
* Flexible to work occasional unsociable hours as required.
What We Offer
* Competitive salary with flexible benefits package.
* Long-term pipeline of work across Scotland’s major infrastructure schemes.
* 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.
* Excellent parental leave and family-friendly policies.
* Inclusive team culture with a strong focus on career development and internal progression.
