The McDermott group is seeking an HSEQ Advisor based in Perth, Scotland. This role is vital in maintaining high standards in health, safety, environmental protection, and quality management.

Responsibilities
* Manage and liaise with HSEQ auditors to maintain company accreditations.
* Create, monitor, and maintain procedures within the Quality Management System.
* Coach and advise employees and management on HSEQ matters to ensure legal compliance.
* Plan and conduct audits, and implement best practices based on findings.
* Provide training on HSEQ topics to internal staff.
* Ensure company processes meet their intended outputs and report on HSEQ performance and improvements.
* Promote customer focus and maintain the integrity of the HSEQ management system.
* Carry out risk assessments, site inspections, and develop safe operational procedures.
* Ensure compliance with legislation and develop internal health and safety policies.
* Lead training sessions for managers and employees on QHSE matters.
* Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and produce relevant reports and statistics.
* Stay updated on legislation and industry developments related to HSEQ.
* Manage the safe handling and disposal of hazardous substances, and advise on related regulations.
* Monitor emergency procedures, signage, PPE, and COSHH controls.
* Possess NEBOSH General or equivalent qualification.
* Demonstrate a strong passion and knowledge in HSEQ subjects.
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
* Proficient in MS Office applications.
* Experience with risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and DSE.
* Auditor training or experience preferred.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
* Must have full rights to work in the UK (IDLR or Settled Status).
