We operate 24/7, requiring flexible hours, including weekends and on-call duties. Full training, PPE, and equipment will be provided to ensure all drainage engineers are well-equipped and confident in their roles, regardless of background or experience.
Position Details
* Location: Fairlee Depot, Newport, Isle of Wight
* Type: Permanent, full-time
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours/week
* Salary: £30,500 per annum

About The Role
As part of our Utility Division, working on the Southern Water contract, you'll address wastewater network and drainage issues by:
* Traveling to sites via HGV in two-person teams, using high-pressure water jets for restoration
* Cleaning, clearing, and maintaining drainage systems
* Recording job reports accurately with specialist equipment
* Running diagnostics and repairs on drains
* Delivering excellent customer service
* Following health and safety practices
* Managing vehicle stock
* Utilizing VISTEC and Salesforce platforms
* Liaising with clients on progress
* Working independently in all weather conditions with proper PPE and safety systems
* Performing risk assessments and supporting colleagues
* Inspecting tools and equipment before and after use
* Reporting defects and malfunctions
* Adhering to company policies and safety standards
* Performing any other duties as required

About You
The ideal candidate is hardworking, respectful, and safety-conscious. Experience with high-pressure jetting is useful but not essential. Drainage qualifications like NRSWA or Confined Spaces are advantageous.
