Main duties
As the Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will support the Hospitality Manager to deliver consistent customer care and service, ensure the home operates to the agreed standard regarding the catering service, and uphold Health and Safety measures. Other responsibilities include liaising with the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to meet residents’ nutritional and hydration needs, supporting and delivering all catering services, creating a warm dining atmosphere, and ensuring staff are trained, supervised, and appraised accordingly.

About the role
Your focus as Food and Beverage Supervisor is to support the Hospitality Manager, ensuring that customer care and service are delivered consistently and that the home operates to the agreed standard regarding the catering service, while ensuring Health and Safety measures are in place and adhered to. Other responsibilities include liaising with the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to meet hydration and nutritional needs; supporting and delivering all catering services across the home while maintaining resident choice, dignity, confidentiality and safety; creating a warm dining atmosphere in line with residents’ preferences; and contributing to imaginative themes for special events.

Qualifications: We are looking for awareness of COSHH and CQC regulations, prior experience in team leadership in a similar role, compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents, and relevant qualifications in safe delivery of Food and Hygiene or Catering Services. Experience in a similar setting (restaurant or hotel) would be desirable.
