Your new role We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team of staff in the Pharmacy department. Some duties in this role will include: Provide pharmaceutical expertise and input into the care of our patients, supporting the pharmacy department to deliver an excellent medicine management service to all customers. Supervise the procurement, preparation, dispensing and distribution of medicines, whilst supervising junior staff members in the delivery of the medicine management service. Assume responsibility for clinical service as identified and facilitate the daily running of the pharmacy department, providing a safe and effective medicine management service to all patients, staff, consultants, and customers. This is a full-time, permanent role for 37.5 hours a week. Part-time hours are also available. You will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern, with no nights. You will also be on call for unsocial hours, including weekends, on a rotational basis. What you'll need to succeed Degree in Pharmacy, MPharm, B.Sc. or BPharm. Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist. Knowledge of General Pharmaceutical Council Codes of Professional Conduct, Ethics and Performance and their implications for practice. I must have a post-graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or work on it. Must have minimum of 3 years post-registration experience. Experience working within a hospital environment is desirable. Experience in Oncology Pharmacy is desirable. Degree in Pharmacy, MPharm, B.Sc. or BPharm. Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist. Knowledge of General Pharmaceutical Council Codes of Professional Conduct, Ethics and Performance and their implications for practice. · Must have a post-graduate DiplomaIn Clinical Pharmacy or working towards. · Must have minimum 3 years postRegistration experience. · Experience working within a hospital environment is desirable.
