Job Overview
Provide scientific and technical leadership to guide biomarker strategies for pharmaceutical and emerging biotech customers supporting clinical development programs.
Responsibilities
* Ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal laboratory capabilities by coordinating across technical, scientific, and commercial teams globally.
* Drive early engagement between biomarker and clinical teams to inform assay selection, platforms, and study design.
* Lead scientific discussions during feasibility assessments and strategy development.
* Support bid defense meetings and capability presentations and provide scientific input for RFIs, RFPs, and client proposals.
* Support feasibility for assay transfer, validation, and technology integration.
* Maintain deep understanding of internal laboratory processes, workflows, and capabilities and ensure delivery of scientifically sound, client-aligned solutions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) required (advanced degree preferred)
* Minimum of 5 years experience in pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or clinical research environments
* Demonstrated experience working with biomarkers in clinical trials
* Expertise in oncology biomarkers and their application in drug development
* Extensive experience in clinical trials environment
