Robert Half are delighted to be supporting a manufacturing business in North Bristol on the recruitment for a full time and permanent Finance Assistant to join the team.
You will get the opportunity to join a UK Finance team, who are part of a larger international group and play a pivotal role in supporting in a local environment with the backing of a global business.
This business adopts a hybrid working model, which will require you on site for a minimum of 3 days per week. The working hours are 8:30am to 4:45pm but this can also be discussed if flexibility is needed.
Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant include but are not limited to:
1. Managing both sides of the ledger - purchase and sales.
2. Processing invoices, expenses, and credit notes.
3. Supporting with bank reconciliations and assisting the Finance team with month-end close.
4. Supporting with payroll and VAT returns.
5. Preparing financial reports.
6. Assisting the wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks and process improvements.
Your Profile:
7. Previous experience working in a finance position, ideally within a SME environment.
8. Confident working on both sides of the ledger.
9. Comfortable with the MS Suite particularly Excel and accounting tools.
10. A proactive and organised individual, able to manage a busy workload of varying deadlines.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £26,000 to £28,000 dependant on experience plus wider benefits.
