Ocean Export Operator (FCL & LCL)
Location: Staffordshire, West Midlands
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus Scheme
We are seeking an experienced Ocean Export Operator to join our growing freight forwarding client. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end export shipments across both FCL and LCL movements, ensuring a high level of customer service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage FCL and LCL ocean export shipments from start to finish.
* Liaise with shippers, hauliers, and carriers.
* Prepare and process export documentation, including Bills of Lading and customs paperwork.
* Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to clients.
* Ensure compliance with all export regulations and company procedures.
* Maintain accurate operational and financial records.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in ocean freight exports (LCL & FCL).
* Strong knowledge of export documentation and shipping processes.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
* Proficiency in freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office.
